[github] Pathfinder by Roll20 -> Character Sheet bugfix

Hello everyone, I am an old player and GM, using the "Pathfinder by Roll20" character sheet (authored by Natha). I have few questions about this. 1. Github repository I have seen a few small bugs that I wanted to fix. So, I wen to the github repository , forked it, made the bugfix, created the pull request. And there, I have a first problem : my pull request is marked as "new sheet" (probably by a bot) and can not be merged. How can I fix this ? Is there someone I must call to merge the PR, or is there someone who will automatically check the new PR and eventually merge it ? 2. Readme.md Second question : I see the Readme.md file, that says :  This character sheet code has been migrated to a private repository to allow for the User Collaboration team to utilize GitHub's integration and automation features.  Does that mean that I have to modify the character sheet on another repository ? Can someone tell me where it is ? I found no other hint in this github repository. 3. Differences between repo and prod ? In my game, I use the character sheet labelled "Pathfinder" ; with the preview image, I understand it's this same character sheet I try to modify in github. But I see some minor differences, making me think that the character sheet has already had some bug fixes that I don't see in the github repository. Maybe because it's another repository used as reference (as I suppose with the readme file, described earlier). Or maybe there is a step that triggers the deploy of the character sheet in roll20, that has not been done for a long time on this character sheet ? Can someone enlighten me about this ?

Hi Gabriel, official sheets cannot be modified by the general public.  Any code that's on the repo for official sheets is usually something that is very outdated.  Official by Roll20 code is kept private by Roll20.  Roll20 also has an unofficial policy (maybe it's official somewhere, not sure...) "one sheet per system".  The exceptions are that they allow a community sheet if there is an Official one.  Some sheets (Pathfinder being one of them) have been grandfathered in.  Typically sheet authors are encouraged to work together if they want to see improvements to an existing community-created sheet. If a sheet is substantially different from another existing sheet, perhaps for a game variant, you may get approval to release it. It's often up to the repo manager to enforce Roll20 policies though. Hope this helps.
Hi Vince, What I understand from what you tell me, is that I can't contribute to improvement of roll20 Character Sheets ? And also, this repository is not used anymore for the roll20 platform ? It's a shame, because as a frequent roll20 user, and a professional software engineer, I could help a lot to improve the quality of character sheets used by many players. Is there another way to help ? Maybe by creating bug reports, if only certified developers can modify the character sheets used by roll20 ? Or another repository where I could update the Pathfinder sheet ? I'm ok to work as a volunteer, if I can improve the user experience of the players on my campaign. Let me know if there is a way.

You can contribute to community created sheets or submit a new sheet (keeping the one-sheet-per-system policy in mind of course), but Official by Roll20 sheets are closed.  I'm sure it has a lot to do with licensing and contracts with the game manufactures.  You would need to be a Roll20 employee and/or a subcontractor to work on the official sheets.  You can post bug reports and make requests to Roll20's help desk.  The forums are basically members helping members. You can modify the old code found on the repo for your own Custom game(s), but that would only be for your game's or anyone that you share the code with. AFAIK, Roll20's official repo is only for hosting Roll20's publicly available sheets (that adhere to their policies). This is just my experience/knowledge of course. Roll20 staff would need to confirm.
Thanks for your answer. I see that it's not as easy as I believed, to fix some minor bugs on the character sheet that I use in my game. I will try to find another solution, based on the hints you give me (bug report, custom personal sheet, ...)
